We’re Hiring

Sweeney Merrigan Law is growing faster than ever, and we are always on the lookout for top talent in the legal space. We recognize the enormous value a qualified attorney or paralegal can bring to our injury law firm. We seek out and hire people with diverse backgrounds and knowledge.

Our whole team pursues excellence and works hard for every single one of our clients.

Legal Receptionist

Sweeney Merrigan Law is growing, and we’re on the hunt for a versatile legal receptionist to answer phone calls, and handle various administrative tasks such as sorting mail and ordering supplies.

Your duties may also include scheduling appointments, handling inquiries, and managing outbound mail. You may also be required to assist with filing certain materials such as client documents and medical imagery. Are you naturally good at troubleshooting computer, software, or other common office tech issues? Make sure you let us know!

At Sweeney Merrigan, one of Boston’s leading personal injury law firms, we pride ourselves on giving our clients only the highest quality of service, care, and professionalism as we fight to get them the compensation they deserve. Our office is a low-ego environment where we seek to have one another’s backs and strive for excellence as a group.

To ensure success as a legal receptionist, you should exhibit excellent communication skills and competency in general office administration. Outstanding legal receptionists are polished professionals who create a positive first impression. We’re looking for the ideal team player: someone who is humble, hungry for success in their role, and exhibits “people smarts”. You’ll need to be friendly and outgoing, able to make an instant connection, but also assertive and aware of when a call needs to be forwarded or a conversation respectfully concluded. If you’re someone who takes initiative, eagerly helps others, and is excited to help make our office an even more efficient and smooth-running place to work, we want to hear from you!
