Erin McHugh is the Director of Pre-Litigation at Sweeney Merrigan Law. Her practice is focused on representing clients in motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, general liability, dog attacks, and wrongful death. To date, Erin has secured over $25 million for her clients. She is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of Connecticut. Erin graduated from Suffolk University Law School, where she graduated with Pro Bono Honors and served on the board of the Suffolk Public Interest Law Group. Prior to law school, Erin received her undergraduate degree from Lafayette College. She is a member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys and the Massachusetts Bar Association.

Boston injury attorney Erin E. McHugh represents clients in personal injury cases involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, products liability, medical malpractice, and bicycle accidents. She is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of Connecticut.
In 2021, she was instrumental in securing recoveries of $4 million for the family of victim of medical malpractice and $1.75 million for a traumatic brain injury.
Attorney McHugh Graduated from Suffolk University Law School and earned a bachelor’s degree from Lafayette College. As a law student, she served on the board of the Suffolk Public Interest Law Group, and was a member of the Lefkowitz Moot Court Team. She also graduated from Suffolk Law with Pro Bono Honors, having completed over 100 Pro Bono hours throughout the course of her law school career.
As an undergraduate student, Attorney McHugh double majored in Government & Law and Spanish, and was inducted into Sigma Delta Pi, the National Collegiate Spanish Honors Society.
Prior to joining Sweeney Merrigan Law, Attorney McHugh worked for a small business litigation firm in Boston, as well as for the Boston Public Schools’ Office of Legal Advisor.
She’s a member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys.
