Korey Kajko

Korey S. Kajko is a trial attorney at Sweeney Merrigan whose practice focuses on complex civil litigation involving wrongful death, catastrophic personal injury, medical malpractice, and sexual abuse. He handles high-exposure matters requiring extensive factual development, sophisticated damages analysis, and coordination with medical, forensic, and liability experts, and is involved in strategic case evaluation and trial preparation from inception through verdict.

In the area of sexual abuse litigation, Korey represents survivors in civil actions against both individual perpetrators and institutional defendants, including schools, religious organizations, healthcare providers, and other entities. His work frequently involves investigating systemic failures, negligent supervision and retention, institutional concealment, and violations of statutory duties designed to protect vulnerable individuals. He regularly navigates sensitive evidentiary issues, trauma-informed litigation practices, and the complex procedural and statute-of-limitations frameworks unique to abuse cases.

Korey is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, as well as in the United States District Court for the Districts of Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He earned his B.A. from Assumption College and his J.D. from New England Law | Boston. He is an active member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys and the American Association for Justice.
