Helping Boston Get Home Safely

With some of the world’s brightest universities, an innovative economy, and a history of sports dominance, Boston clearly knows how to take care of business. But when it’s all said and done, the city knows how to party, with the average adult in Boston consuming 15.6 alcoholic drinks per month.

While there is no shame in having a few drinks, especially when you have so much to celebrate, it does highlight the importance of safety when driving. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s 2013 report on motor vehicle crashes found that there were 10,076 total alcohol related accident fatalities in the United States, 118 of which came in Massachusetts.

At Sweeney Merrigan Law, we have personally seen the devastation that drinking and driving can cause. Particularly during certain holidays, where there is an increased chance of alcohol related crashes, the need for a sober ride home is becoming more important than ever.

That’s why this New Years, we have partnered with Lyft to help you make the smart and cost effective choice of getting home safely.

Our office has purchased $5000 worth of Lyft credits that we are passing on to you! Just fill out the pledge below and $15 worth of credit will be sent to the email you provide. Just be aware that these credits are limited to one a person and only work in the Boston area.

By making rides home easier to obtain, hopefully we can cut down on accidents and the cost of getting you home. No need to thank us, but giving us a shout out on social media would be pretty cool!
