In a severe highway incident on Monday, a cement truck driver was hospitalized following a crash involving multiple parked vehicles in Concord, New Hampshire. The accident, which took place off I-93 south, resulted in the cement truck colliding with 14 parked cars, according to the authorities.

State Police troops who attended the scene reported that the truck deviated from its path and rammed into the cars. Sergeant Daniel Livingstone mentioned preliminary investigations suggest the driver may have encountered a medical emergency while behind the wheel, leading to the unfortunate event.

The driver was immediately transported to a hospital for medical attention, although their current health status has not been disclosed.

At the time of the devastating occurrence, the impacted vehicles were not occupied, and there have been no reports of injuries to any individuals. The absence of bystanders during the incident potentially avoided a more catastrophic outcome.

The authorities are yet to release further details as the investigation into the cause of the crash continues. The aftermath of the crash disrupted the usual flow of traffic, but necessary measures were promptly taken to manage the situation and proceed with the clearance and investigative operations.
