Car accident in Boston

A tragic car accident in Framingham, Massachusetts on Wednesday evening has left two people critically injured. The incident, which occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Edgell Road near Brook Street, resulted in a vehicle striking a telephone pole with such force that it was split in half.

The extent of the damage was evident as debris scattered across the roadway, painting a grim picture of the event. First responders worked swiftly at the chaotic scene to tend to the victims. A man, who suffered serious injuries in the collision, was promptly airlifted to a Boston hospital, while a woman, also critically injured, was transported via ambulance. Both individuals are currently listed in critical but stable condition.

Local residents and passersby were shocked by the severity of the accident, with one witness expressing disbelief at the sight of the severed car. The area surrounding the crash site on Edgell Road, which lies between Central Street and Frost Street, was sealed off by the police for several hours. This closure allowed the emergency teams to safely manage and clear the scene, which they did until the early hours of Thursday. The roadway has since been reopened to traffic.

The authorities are conducting an in-depth investigation to determine the precise cause of the accident. At this time, the Framingham Police has withheld the names and ages of those involved in the crash as inquiries continue.
