In a tragic incident on Sunday evening, a 4-year-old girl was fatally struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Congress and Sleeper streets in South Boston. The accident occurred at approximately 5:06 p.m., and the young victim was accompanied by her family at the time of the collision. She was immediately transported to Massachusetts General Hospital, where she subsequently succumbed to her injuries.
The Boston Police Department was quick to respond to the incident, thoroughly investigating the scene and interviewing the driver involved in the accident. Despite the ongoing investigation, there have been no arrests made in connection to the event. Local residents expressed their shock and described the incident as a terrible tragedy.
